PDF and component datasheets

Vector PDF schematics, embedded datasheet viewing, and download diagnostics.

Reader 0.1 series · Help navigation updated October 5, 2026

Read a PDF

Open component datasheets and multi-page PDF schematics directly from the welcome screen or File menu. The built-in vector pipeline offers smooth scrolling, PageUp / PageDown sheet navigation, and Ctrl+0 full-page fit.

Unlike raster snapshots, the vector engine renders true paths and font outlines. Even when magnifying intricate packaging pin diagrams to 1000%, lines and annotations stay crisp.

Select and copy text

On vector PDFs with embedded font layers, drag with the left button to select pin definitions, timing tables, or electrical ratings. Press Ctrl+C to copy clean text to your clipboard. Hold Space while dragging to pan freely without disrupting selections.

For scanned raster schematics, text selection degrades gracefully. Extracted pinout text pastes directly into editors, preventing manual transcription errors.

Open a component datasheet

Right-click any pad or schematic symbol to launch the Open Datasheet action. The engine first checks local paths and URLs declared in native CAD properties.

If the source file omits documentation links, you can search datasheets by part model (e.g. STM32F407ZGT6). Documents open in an independent docking window, preserving your primary CAD layout view.

403, redirects and failed downloads

When downloading manufacturer documentation, certain semiconductor portals enforce CAPTCHAs, bot filtering, or multiple redirects. The context menu offers Open in Browser for such occasions.

You can complete verification in your external browser, download the PDF locally, and drag it into Keltri. The workspace never stores browser cookies or authentication credentials.
