Read schematics
Continuous schematic canvas, signal tracing, and hierarchical sheet metadata.
Single sheet, continuous mode and rotation
The schematic viewport supports both single-sheet focus and continuous roll navigation. In continuous mode, the mouse wheel scrolls smoothly across sheets while Ctrl+wheel zooms. A proportional scrollbar supports rapid multi-sheet transit.
In single-sheet mode, the wheel zooms directly, Ctrl+wheel pans, and PageUp / PageDown switches sheets. Schematics and vector PDF datasheets can also be rotated independently in 90-degree steps to suit landscape diagrams or portrait datasheets.
Select nets, components and connectors
Clicking a schematic wire highlights the electrical net across all interconnected branches rather than relying purely on graphic intersection. Selecting a symbol or pin populates the inspector with references, part values, and pin types.
Crossing lines without explicit solder junctions or hierarchical ports are treated as non-connected crossovers, adhering to formal engineering schematics standards.
Names and identities across sheets
Complex designs rely on multi-sheet hierarchies with module ports, global rails, and bus taps. Keltri tracks full hierarchical paths (such as /Audio/DAC/MCLK) and unifies shared nets across sheets.
Selecting a cross-sheet signal reveals all interconnected sheet indices in the inspector. Using cross-probe shortcuts, jump directly to driver sources or load receivers on remote sheets.
Paper, scale and source metadata
When design files include sheet metadata, the canvas renders standard engineering frames (A0 through A4), title blocks, and revision logs. Files omitting border data use tight bounding boxes.
Designators, pin labels, and net flags render via sub-pixel antialiased vector glyphs. Text remains razor-sharp from bird's-eye overviews down to microscopic pin inspections.
