Updates, language and data

Zero-cloud security architecture, data governance, and open compliance.

Reader 0.1 series · Help navigation updated October 5, 2026

Downloads and verification

Choose the installer or portable ZIP on the official website. The current executable and installer are not code-signed. A SHA-256 digest checks download integrity; it does not authenticate the publisher.

Automatic updates are currently disabled. Ed25519 verification of update manifests is separate from Windows executable code signing; a manual download does not enable client updates.

Automatic language and English fallback

On first launch, the workspace auto-detects system locale (Simplified Chinese or English). You can override this anytime in the Language menu, saving the preference locally.

Online documentation links match client language settings while preserving topic anchor routes. Component designators, schematic nets, and pin labels remain in raw source language to preserve engineering accuracy.

What goes online

Core guarantee: Opening, inspecting, and analyzing hardware designs involves zero cloud synchronization or external uploads. All geometry parsing and netlist generation execute strictly in local memory.

Only deliberate external actions (opening online documentation, manufacturer portals, or manual update checks) initiate standard HTTPS requests. Help searches run locally inside your browser without logging queries.

About, diagnostics and licenses

Help → About provides build metadata and third-party open-source license attestations. All required notices are embedded inside the executable for offline compliance.

If an unsupported CAD structure triggers an issue, the diagnostics generator compiles a strictly sanitized report: containing only build IDs, OS architecture, and generic error classes—excluding all filenames, paths, designators, or geometry.
